The garden in the beginning…

Updated: Nov 8, 2021

Our garden is about three quarters of an acre. It was landscaped originally with stepped stone beds, a rockery, a pond and some decent planting but it had clearly got away from the previous owners as years went by..

Entire beds had become overgrown, the perennial weeds had taken hold, what was meant to be a hedge had turned into line of light stealing monster trees and the rockery was just cultivating bramble!

We saw a lot of potential, with a lot of hard work, and knew we could turn this space into something we'd been dreaming of. However, as very amateur albeit enthusiastic gardeners we knew we'd have our work cut out for us... we weren't wrong!!
